About the ProLaser 4
The ProLaser 4 is a laser (LIDAR) speed measuring device. Its very narrow beam targets a single vehicle, even in heavy traffic, and gives its speed and distance in a fraction of a second. Type-approved in France with a 1,000-metre range, it is used by municipal police forces and state services.
Precise aiming, two displays
The operator aims through a head-up display (HUD) that shows speed and distance directly in the field of view. A second OLED screen on the back lets you check the reading or show it to the driver. Direction of travel (approaching or receding) is detected automatically: no setting is needed between checks.
Reliable in bad weather
Bad-weather mode filters spurious echoes caused by rain, drizzle, fog or snow. The IP67 housing withstands temporary immersion and operates from −30 °C to +60 °C.
Light and self-sufficient
Weighing 1.16 kg with a non-slip pistol grip, the ProLaser 4 can be used handheld or on a tripod. It runs on standard rechargeable AA batteries, easy to replace, rather than a proprietary pack. It stores the last 100 readings.
Supplied calibrated, supported over time
Each device is supplied calibrated and certified with its metrology logbook. VIRTUAVIA SARL then provides follow-up and annual calibration. The warranty is two years in mainland France.

Yes. Most of our customers are local authorities: order on quotation or purchase order, payment by administrative mandate and invoicing via Chorus Pro.
Which batteries does the ProLaser 4 use?
Four standard rechargeable AA batteries. A set of batteries and a charger are supplied, together with a cigarette-lighter lead.
Is the tripod included?
The mounting bracket is included; the tripod with ball head is optional and shipped in a separate parcel.
